Boarding Israir flight from Sde Dov domestic airport (Tel Aviv) to get to Eilat (on the Red Sea). It was a difficult day to fly due to low visibility over much of the country. Before departure, the pilot announced that Eilat airport had been closing and opening frequently during the day and that we'll have to wait for clearance before taking off. He took off within a few minutes and after an hour's flying announced that we'd be circling over Eilat waiting for clearance to land. But soon we were hurtling through the fog and just as the engine noise got loud, we saw the lights of Eilat through the thick fog as we touched down. Download
