Concha Marca

Fog moves over Concha Marca, which is a good 100m below Sayac Marca. After crossing the campsite Chaquiqocha we begin to enter the most beautiful section of the entire trail. The paving is mostly original Inca and the path crosses high stone embankments as it skirts deep precipices. A beautiful cloud forest envelops the trekker for a fair distance with wonderful views of the surrounding depths. We also pass one of the 2 Inca Tunnels that are on the trail.
